Cougars Split Doubleheader with the Knights in Day 2 of the Four Game Series
The Cougars attempted comeback in Game 1 was not enough to beat the Knights. Allowing seven early runs, the Cougars chipped away at the lead, but managed to only score six runs in the 9-inning game. This loss was avenged in the second game when the offense pounced by scoring twelve runs in fewer innings. Their pitchers showed great command and limited the Knights to two runs.
